Build a Bridge-Gabe Miller, Project Manager There is a construction company in need of our services. They have asked the team to build a model of a bridge. The bridge will have to be built to span across a body of water. for the model the body of water is 11 3/4 x 9 3/8, the bridge must span across the widest part. The prices and materials are listed below and you have a budget of $100.00 (if you had money left over from the previous project you may use that as well).
$1.00 Ice Cream sticks $5.00 blue tack $10.00 spool of string $5.00 bottle of glue $5.00 roll of scotch tape
*you may also use items that are in your office area. DO NOT go out of the office to obtain items from other people or places. You will purchase these items from the CEO
You have 30 minutes to plan, use your time wisely. The plan must be approved by the CEO before proceeding. If it is not approved the team will regroup to make the necessary modifications. (Bring it to my office and I will be checking to see if you followed the Project Management Quick Guide Reference)
Once the plan is approved you have 30 minutes to construct the bridge. One final note: the bridge must be able to sustain some weight.
